About us
This website is run by Home & Away Candles, 6 Murchison, Glasgow G12 0FA, amac@home-away.co.uk. By using the site or placing an order you agree to these terms.

Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we email you to say it has been dispatched. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock or a price was shown wrongly, and if so we'll refund you in full.

Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling (£). We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to your order. Payment is taken when you order, through Shopify's secure checkout. We never see or store your card details.

Delivery
We deliver within the UK. Our Delivery and Returns page has the costs and timings.

Returns and refunds
You can return unburnt, unused items within 14 days of receiving them, as set out on our Delivery and Returns page and in our Refund Policy.

Faulty or damaged items
If something arrives damaged or faulty, contact us and we'll put it right. This doesn't affect your legal rights.

Candle and diffuser safety
Please follow the care and safety guidance on our Candle & Diffuser Care page and on the label. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep candles and diffusers away from children and pets. We can't accept responsibility for damage caused by misuse.

Product information
We do our best to show our products accurately, but colours may vary slightly on different screens. Each candle is hand-poured, so small differences are part of the charm.

Intellectual property
All text, images, logos and designs on this site belong to Home & Away Candles. Please don't copy or reuse them without our written permission.

Privacy
We handle your personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the price of the items you ordered.

Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction. If you live in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
