Hi, I’m Annabel, the creative heart behind Home & Away, where luxurious soy wax candles and home fragrances meet timeless style. My journey began in the scenic town of Oban, Scotland, where my appreciation for natural beauty took root. At 14, my family moved to London, opening a new chapter of experiences. My first job was at Parker’s the Bakers, whose shiny silver logo inspired the sleek branding you see in Home & Away today. My passion for creativity led me to the London College of Fashion, where I studied hairdressing and makeup. Travel became my muse, inspiring the unique fragrances and aesthetics of Home & Away. Even while pursuing a corporate career, I always gravitated towards creative hobbies—sewing, baking, and nurturing an allotment for 23 years. With my family grown, I now channel my creativity into designing luxurious scents and crafting exquisite soy wax candles.
